About OCME
In a world where creativity, distribution and value is controlled by the few, OCME is changing the rules.
Reach a global audience; re-define how digital media is controlled and consumed.
A non-profit, member-based organization founded in 2024.
The Open Commercial Media Ecosystem (OCME) is a non-profit, member-based organization founded in 2024 to revolutionize how digital content is valued, shared, and monetized.
We are not a platform. We are an ecosystem facilitator — creating the governance framework, standards, and content security that enable creators, curators, and technology providers to work together in a transparent, secure, and collaborative environment.
We envision a thriving creator ecosystem where creators control their own content, governance is transparent and community-led, and economic value flows to the people who create it.
OCME creates a common space by:
Returning to the feel of a traditional creator's community where people can come to browse, exchange and create freely.
Five sectors. One mission.
As a non-profit organization, OCME operates under an Ecosystem Governance Framework (EGF) following Trust Over IP (ToIP) standards — ensuring transparent and open economic opportunity for all participants.
Legal frameworks, governance framework development, software license agreements, and contractual paperwork that structure the ecosystem.
Ecosystem growth initiatives including member recruitment, business partnerships, competitive analysis, and market research.
Public communication through newsletters, blog posts, social media, and website content that share our story and values.
Member engagement, social media interaction, curator relationships, and technology provider partnerships.
Day-to-day activities including payment processing, reporting, tool development, and ensuring the ecosystem runs smoothly.
The people behind the ecosystem.
Executive Director
Driven by an obsession for efficiency and innovation, Andy focuses on developing decentralized systems that restore economic agency to creators and professionals by providing cryptographically secure alternatives to gatekeeping industries.
A member of the Linux Foundation of Decentralized Trust (LFDT) since 2023, Andy founded OCME as part of his mission to bring self-sovereign identity solutions to 100 million people by 2034 — creating a new model where creators control their own content and economic destiny.

The OCME launched in 2024 with early adopters gathering around a shared vision. We're currently awaiting IRS non-profit approval (expected early 2026) and building toward significant milestones.
Today, the OCME ecosystem includes:
This is just the beginning. Every creator who joins, every curator who launches, every technology provider who integrates — they're all helping build something bigger than any one platform could achieve.
Contributing content regularly to the ecosystem.
Our founding curator, growing from 400k to 1.2 million weekly viewers.
Our primary technology provider, building decentralized identity and content management systems.
Representing diverse perspectives across the creator economy.
An emerging framework that balances structure with flexibility.
Building for the long term.
We're not just building a better platform. We're building a new model for how creators, curators, and technology providers can work together — one that puts economic agency back in the hands of the people doing the work.
Our long-term vision extends far beyond our initial music video community. We're building an ecosystem that can support:
Music, news, gaming, film, podcasts, and emerging media formats.
Growing from hundreds to thousands of active participants.
Supporting multiple independent curator businesses across different genres and niches.
Welcoming multiple technology providers who build on our open standards.
Expanding beyond our initial community to serve creators worldwide.
The OCME is a member-driven organization. Every voice matters. Every contribution counts.
Whether you're a creator looking for sustainable income, a curator building an audience, or a technology provider with innovative tools — we invite you to participate in building the future of content commercialization.
